DJ DIE & ADDISON GROOVE – MORRO DUB DENDE

The world is paying more and more attention to the national unrest in Brazil. The country is also under great pressure because of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Addison Groove and DJ Die produced a song that sends out a message on this subject. They didn’t want to make any profit from it and decided to make a video with scenes from the movie ‘Tropa de Elite’.

DJAO

DJAO’s self-titled debut album is almost here. After three years of producing, he has created an album that is a representation of personal growth and inner reflection. With this album, DJAO takes us on a journey to clarity and understanding. For the first time DJAO showcases his vocal talents. On ‘Basement’ you’ll hear his reverbed vocals supported by slow melodies and swift drums that together sound mesmerizing. It’s a promise of what will come. The complete album will drop on October 28.

MIGUEL ATWOOD-FERGUSON

Multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, music director, producer, DJ, and educator Miguel Atwood-Ferguson is working on his first solo album ‘Les Jardins Mystiques’, that will be released via Brainfeeder. Guests on this record will be Bilal, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Herbie Hancock, JRocc, Karriem Riggins, Leon Ware and Madlib just to name a few. Wtf, right? That’s a crazy list. On top of that he’s also working on a string quartet record called ‘Quartetto Fantastico’. The highly talented Miguel has never been able to afford the time and money needed to record his own albums, despite all the work he did on other records. To realise these albums, he needs your help. Visit this page to read more about these two project and make a donation. Here a little introduction video and watch his performance of ‘Drips/Take Notice’ feat. KUTMAH B2B J ROCC BOILER ROOM

Boiler Room is taking over the internet for a while now. Like almost every electronic artist or Dj featured a show. But this new one is most likely our favorite. Kutmah and J Rocc back to back. We don’t need to say more naming these two, because they are veterans.  This show is recorded in Paris and is the first in a two part serie of broadcasts in partnership with DIESEL + EDUN’s ‘Studio Africa’ project.
