News coming from the Eglo Records camp always makes me excited. This time it’s Fatima who’s coming with a brand new album. More than a week ago she already previewed a track produced by Scoop DeVille. She wrote the opening track ‘Yellow Memories’ alongside Floating Points and The Parrish (!!!), that is heavily inspired by 100% Pure Poison. Both tracks just make you eager to get your hands on the release. We’ll have to wait till May 12th. So for now just have a listen and you’ll for sure be blown away.
On the 18th of November Fatima will release her new single ‘Family/La Neta’ via Eglo Records. For the B-side she teamed-up with the Londen based producer fLako to create this awesome track ‘Black Dough’. To warm us up for her new release, Eglo Records has published the B-side on their bandcamp as a tease.
Shafiq Husayn, member of SA-RA Creative Partners, is a true veteran and still has a big impact on the contemporary music scene with his music. Shafiq has a new record planned for release early 2015, entitled ‘L∞P’. The three track Ep, named ‘It’s Better For You‘, is a tease and contains the first single from the upcoming album. The opening track features Anderson Paak. The list of collaborators for the album features the likes of Hiatus Kayote, Thundercat, Miguel Atwood Ferguson, Fatima and many more.
